Wilderness Retreat is an upscale lodging
destination for family getaways, family reunions, church retreats,
corporate events, any group 1 to 100. The Itasca Conference
Center, has audio video equipment & more, catering
through onsite restaurant, and luxurious lodging in the
woods.
We are conveniently
located in northwest Minnesota, 9 miles west of Park Rapids
and 25 east of Detroit Lakes on State Hwy 34. Our mission is to be a place for
rejuvenation of the body, mind and spirit.
In this unspoiled landscape you can play, relax, fish, hunt,
ATV, snowmobile, and so much more with friends and
family.
With a choice of one or more of 18 uniquely themed
cabins that range in accommodating 1- 14 ppl, there is sure to
be one to fit your needs. restaurant, Conference center, Our
cabins have wireless internet access, private baths, satellite TVs w/
DVD players, air conditioning, mini refrigerators, a queen bed, and a
set of bunk beds. Our two room suites also have a living area with a
futon, recliner and set of dishes.
We have a full set of
activities for your enjoyment that include, game room, movie
theater, hot tub/sauna pavilion, bon fire pits, lawn games, 1/2
basketball court, 2 volleyball courts, 2 regulation horseshoe pits,
petting zoo, children's train, sledding, cross country/walking trails,
coffee shop, gift shop, laundry facility, and more.
Summer brings back our Smokey Hills Wranglers
Chuckwagon Supper Show on Saturday nights and also special
performances for groups over 25.

Our
conference center is equipped with a full sound booth, electric
piano, drop down screen and projector for
conferences and meetings.
